Jean Edmonds, MT(ASCP)
Ms. Edmonds is a Medical Technologist in the UGA Department
of Foods and Nutrition. She conducts nutrition and health screenings
in the northeast Georgia Senior Centers with an emphasis on
blood sugar and cholesterol monitoring. She also tests vitamin
D and B12 levels in our seniors. Vitamin D and B12 deficiencies
are quite common in older people and can adversely affect health
and well-being.
